The Ant Hill Mob Motorcycle Club, Ltd. is a club of men and women motorcycle enthusiasts.  Its purpose is to further their enjoyment of motorcycling by providing organized activities.  Some of these activities are motorcycle-orientated fundraising projects for the benefit of charities.

Our club objective is to project a better image of motorcycling to the public.  To this end, it is the club’s policy to publicize its charitable works.

The Mother Club is based out of Osman, Wisconsin, near Manitowoc, Wisconsin and has a bike show in April of every year, a charity ride in July, and a summer long poker run.

Chapter 1 was formed in 1985 also known as “Bear Creek WI “ Chapter,  when one member from Manitowoc moved to the Bear Creek area and approximately 4 members of the Ant Hill Mob Osman Motorcycle Club that lived in the Bear Creek area thought it was a better idea at the time to start Chapter 1 due to travel concerns.  It was brought up to the “Mother Club” at the time and was allowed to be established.

Not many of us had Harley’s in the beginning, but slowly Harley’s became the main type of motorcycle owned.  It never was a requirement and still to this day is not, but seems to be the preferred motorcycle to ride in the group.
We use our love of motorcycling to help raise money for the less fortunate.  We used to be involved in charity donations of supplies to the Bear Creek Ambulance and local first responders.  We would host “Pig Roasts” and hope that the weather and people would cooperate.  We currently do a Charity Ride the second Saturday of August and have donated the proceeds to The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin the last few years.  We have a  9 pin charity bowling tournament in March.  We have also been adopting a needy family for Christmas the last few years in the Clintonville and New London areas and we donated 1200 pounds of dog food to the Happily Ever After Animal Sanctuary, a no kill shelter near Marion, in 2010. We also attend various other charity events throughout the year for support and to make donations.

The success of Chapter 1 is the friendship and respect the members have for one another developed through a “brotherhood” with written and unwritten rules and guidelines.  Chapter 1 is a strong club and growing and very much involved in functions both in Manitowoc and in our area.  Our strength comes from the “brotherhood” we have developed, the love of motorcycle riding and the charity work we do.  The club as a whole has donated over three quarter of a million dollars to charities over the last 35 plus years and will keep doing so for a long time to come.
